Terms of use
Last updated: 28th October 2026
Piano Puddle is run by Travis Dickerson, ABN 59697694352, in WA, Australia (âweâ). By making an account you agree to these terms. Questions: hello@pianopuddle.com.
Your account
- An account is made by a parent or guardian, 18 or over, for their family.
- Keep your password to yourself. The parent PIN keeps children out of the parent area.
- One account is for one familyâs children, up to 5.
- Piano teachers can make a free teacher account, 18 or over. A teacher only sees the progress of children a parent has chosen to share with them, and only uses it to teach those children.
Free levels and subscribing
- The first 10 levels are free. After that, a subscription unlocks every level for every child in the family.
- A subscription costs A$5 a month or A$50 a year (prices include any GST), paid in advance through Stripe. It renews by itself until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the time youâve paid for.
- If we change the price, weâll email you at least 30 days before, and the new price starts at your next renewal.
Refunds
The first 10 levels are free so you can try Piano Puddle first, so we donât give refunds if you change your mind. You can cancel any time, and you keep access until the end of the time youâve paid for.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If Piano Puddle has a major problem or doesnât work as described, email us and weâll put it right, which may include a refund.
What Piano Puddle needs
A digital piano or keyboard with USB, and Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android tablet. A keyboard that makes no sound of its own works too: turn on đľ Piano sound in the player menu. Pianos differ, so try it on the free levels before you subscribe.
Fair use
Donât try to break into, overload or copy the site, or share your account outside your family. We may close accounts that do.
The service
We work hard to keep Piano Puddle running and your progress safe, but it may sometimes be down for a while. The songs are public-domain tunes; the levels, pictures and code are ours. The piano sound is the Salamander Grand Piano by Alexander Holm, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence.
Closing your account
You can delete your account any time in đŞ Parents. Cancel your subscription first, so you arenât charged again. Teachers can delete their account on their own page.
